Child Health Strategies is a consulting firm with the mission of providing evidenced-based guidance and education for caregivers of children at home, in early childhood education centers, and school health settings.

Founder Dr. Jennifer Flippo is both a pediatric nurse practitioner and a certified Child Care Health Consultant. She writes course content for professional development for child care providers, as well as conducts in-person or virtual assessments of schools and early childhood centers. As about 60% of children spend more than 24 hours per week in child care away from home, ensuring their care is safe and educationally fulfilling is a necessity. With 20+ years of pediatric advanced practice background, Jennifer is skilled at determining what needs should be met and how.

Child Health Strategies’ vision includes exploring and improving social determinants of health, as these conditions in which children live, play, and learn have a significant influence on population health outcomes. Dr. Flippo has connected with several community organizations in Fort Worth whose goals reflect the vision of the company, including the Center for Transforming Lives and March of Dimes of North Texas. She is available for speaking engagements on areas surrounding children’s development and health topics.
