Jessica Fiesta, a TCU nursing faculty member has received the prestigious 2023 TCU Nursing Faculty Daisy Award! Expressing overwhelming gratitude, Jessica shared that the recognition was particularly special as it was presented by a dear friend and inspiration since day one, Dr. Oteka Jackson. Starting as adjunct faculty in 2019, Jessica shared that teaching has been one of the most rewarding experiences of their professional career. She feels incredibly fortunate to be part of a community that produces so much talent and is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others. Jessica also took a moment to express appreciation to their mentor, Maggie Higgins, for helping them get where they are today.
