Lindsay has her bachelors in kinesiology and received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2009. As part of such, she completed several of her rotations within the DFW area and was captured by the magic of Fort Worth and she has practiced here since. During that time, she has practiced in both the pediatric and adult populations.
In 2018, Lindsay’s son was diagnosed with medical conditions that required her to take a professional step back to focus her knowledge and time to his care. During their journey towards healing, Lindsay experienced the medical world from a different perspective and felt compelled to begin this practice. From the onset, Rise Physical Therapy and Performance Enhancement was structured in such a way to limit barriers to care, minimize delays in onset of treatment, and eliminate restrictions often imposed by insurance companies. It was also her foremost goal to consider the entire person in her approach to care. She recognizes the fearful way we are created and how each body system affects the other, which requires a comprehensive approach to assessment and treatment. She believes that it is critical to communicate and collaborate with her patients to identify their goals, both short and long term, and create a treatment plan to address physical restrictions and pain to therefore allow them their greatest opportunity at success. She is also passionate about helping her patients maintain their improvements over time through annual assessments and performance enhancement coaching.
Rise Physical Therapy and Performance Enhancement embraces the challenges of life and views them as unique opportunities to “rise” above.
