The pandemic has drastically impacted our arts productions in Fort Worth and Casa Manana is no exception. Their currently schedule Broadway and Children’s Theatre productions have been postponed until August of 2021.
Mainstage productions originally had a goal of returning to the stage this February (having been delayed since the previous March) but given the spikes in COVID cases, Casa has decided it best to remain safe and prepare to return with a bang in late summer.

What my family has enjoyed most about Casa Manana amidst this crazy season of life, is how they have used Reid Cabaret Theatre to their advantage. During these smaller performances, the audience sits on the stage at tables in groups of 2, 3, or 4. The tables are safely spread out and table service is available. The cast members of these performances are limited to 4-5 and are carefully spread out amongst the stage for safety. Health screenings prior to the production are in place for both cast members and audience participants are in place and the intermission has been omitted to eliminate any potential exposures.
My husband and I have personally joined in on the Frank Sinatra show and my entire family lit up like a Christmas tree at their Christmas Sing Along. Stay tuned to Casa’s website to see what productions will safely continue throughout this Spring and Summer!
