Carol Klocek

Chief Executive Officer –

Overview:

Since 2009, Carol has been the CEO for Center for Transforming Lives, which works alongside women and their children to disrupt the cycle of poverty by providing comprehensive homeless services, early childhood education and economic mobility services.

Klocek holds a master’s degree in social work from University of Texas at Arlington and a master’s in business from Texas Christian University. She serves as a board member for DFWI, UNT Health Science Center’s Academic Community Partnerships, and has served on boards that address homelessness, mental health, and maternal and child health.

Under Carol’s leadership, Center for Transforming Lives has some big plans in store. CTL’s board, staff and Carol are intentionally and strategically growing CTL to create real and lasting change for women and children who have experienced both poverty and trauma. Their goal is that CTL will be large enough to have a wide and lasting community impact – causing family poverty to reduce significantly.

“I intend for CTL to be working with 10,000 women and children each year, and with one-third lifting themselves above the poverty line.” – Carol
