Anna Summersett

Anna Summersett is a partner at Varghese Summersett, one of the largest criminal defense firms in North Texas. She is a Board Certified Criminal Law Specialist and an experienced trial lawyer. Anna has handled thousands of criminal cases and tried more than 100 cases before Texas juries, ranging from DWI to capital murder.

In 2014, Anna Summersett and her now-husband, Benson Varghese, left their jobs as prosecutors at the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office to start Varghese Summersett, a criminal defense firm that has since expanded into family and personal injury law. The firm has been named one of the fastest-growing businesses in the U.S. by Inc. 5000 magazine; a best company to work for by Fort Worth Inc. magazine; recognized as a best place for working parents by the city of Fort Worth; and named a 2023 Best Small Business by Mayor Mattie Parker and the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce.
