So, here at Fort Worth Woman, we are selecting one of our city’s shining stars each month. These are the movers and shakers you need to know, and we are proud to honor their accomplishments as our WOMEN OF THE MONTH.

Roxanne Morrison

General Manager of Sewell INFINITI of Fort Worth

That’s definitely not the norm in the car industry. We think it’s an advantage though, as there is definitely a voice from the female buyer. A lot of people love working with an educated, knowledgeable, professional woman.

Meet May’s Fort Worth Woman of the Month, Roxanne Morrison. Roxanne is an Aggie, wife, mother of two and General Manager of Sewell INFINITI of Fort Worth. This incredible woman was born and raised in Round Rock, Texas where she played every sport she could; learning to love teamwork, winning, and competition.

Roxanne attended Texas A&M University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing. After graduation, she moved to Fort Worth and is “convinced it is the best move” she ever could have made. From the people to the places, Roxanne and her family have loved getting involved with local non-profits such as A Wish with Wings and Read2Win. “We believe it is important to give back to the community we serve,” she says. You can find Roxanne and her husband watching Aggie football during the Fall and spending time with their kiddos, Cayden (5) and Madsen (3), all year long. “As a family, we focus on creating memories through experiences. We enjoy traveling, camping, auto racing events, sporting events and grilling on the weekends,” she says.

So how did this busy mom and wife work her way up at Sewell Automotive? She started in the automotive business by joining Sewell as a Finance Manager back in 2009. When she started working at a car dealership, Roxanne says her parents were skeptical to say the least, but were quickly reassured. “We truly are a customer service company that just happens to also sell and service cars,” Roxanne explained. It took only one tour of the dealership, and her parents were convinced that this place was something special.

Roxanne has been with Sewell Automotive for 10 years now, and at the Sewell INFINITI of Fort Worth store since it opened in 2011. Purchasing a New or Pre-Owned vehicle can be an intimidating and overwhelming experience as it is a major life decision – and Sewell understands that. “We keep this in mind every time we greet a customer. Whether it is your first purchase or your tenth purchase, we personally guide you through each step of the vehicle purchasing process as well as walk you through all of the options to help you make the best decision for your family,” says Roxanne.

As a personal Sewell INFINITI customer myself, I have enjoyed numerous benefits in addition to the best vehicles and service experience around. They offer complimentary car washes, pick-up and delivery for service, as well as complimentary loan cars. Simple acts also make a difference. When I drive up, they remember my name, they know I have two car seats to move in to my rental, they’ve let me use their private breast feeding room, and they know I am always in desperate need of coffee. They simply serve but they do it in the most genuine way because they know who each of their customers are – every time.

Another piece of the magic at Sewell is the ‘girl power’. Half of the managers and 40% of Roxanne’s sales associates are female. “That’s definitely not the norm in the car industry. We think it’s an advantage though, as there is definitely a voice from the female buyer. A lot of people love working with an educated, knowledgeable, professional woman,” she states. Roxanne and her team’s customer service is everything on that list and more. “‘Obsessed with service’ includes serving our communities,” says Roxanne, “Each year, our dealership supports hundreds of community events and organizations in Fort Worth, Arlington, Mansfield, and the greater DFW area, partnering primarily with organizations in the arts, children’s charities, and education.”

Other than the beautiful Sewell Dealership, Roxanne loves the community and the people of Fort Worth. “It truly is a big small town and I am fortunate to be involved in various community organizations,” Roxanne gushes, “This city is more like a family, there are no strangers. Everyone knows everyone and we all help each other any way we can.”

When asked what one word is to describe her impact on Fort Worth, Roxanne exclaimed, “Driven! I have an inner drive to help others succeed, to encourage in both development and growth through coaching and one-on-one relationships.” She uses these goals every day to ultimately be the best at providing an exceptional experience when it comes to purchasing or servicing a vehicle. “One of my greatest motivations is to help others succeed at the highest level,” says Roxanne, “Coaching, training, being a constant hand-at-the-back has helped some of my associates achieve success they never thought they could. The greatest accomplishment is when you can help someone else achieve all of their goals, and watch them thrive in providing for their families.”

Roxanne in one in a million and has perfected the art of encouragement.
