360 West Magazine will host its inaugural Women’s Leadership Symposium on September 9th at the PalmWood downtown Fort Worth.
The 360 West Women’s Leadership Symposium is part of a company effort to develop leadership-focused opportunities for professionals in Tarrant County.
This year’s event is presented by Simmons Bank.
Hey friends!
Do you feel like you are in need of some time to yourself to grow professionally and personally? I don’t know about you but the last 18 months of the pandemic have had me really craving some time to learn new skills and lean into the potential that is out there for me to grow as a wife, mom and publisher of two magazines.
A few years ago, with input from local women, I launched the Women’s Leadership Symposium with the intent to bring women together to support the community and find meaningful ways to support the city.
The symposium is scheduled from 8 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. This half-day format allows attendees to hear from industry experts, entrepreneurs, C-suite executives and influencers focusing on women in the workplace and still get a few hours in at the office before 5. Richardson shared that this half day format works well for professionals across the board but especially for working women.
The Women’s Leadership Symposium focuses on connecting regional leaders and national female influencers with attendees. Katia Beauchamp of Birchbox is headlining the day. She is a Texas native with a wild story that has swept the nation. We are thrilled to have her along with a slough of professional women from the Fort Worth area. It’s going to be a great event focused on inspiring women in business.
Beauchamp joins a rich lineup of speakers and sessions at the 360 West WLS this year. Here’s who else you can expect:
- Lori Baldock – Simmons Bank
- Elyse Dickerson – Eosera
- Traci Bernard – Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Southlake
- Mia Meachem – Drunk Elephant
- Sarah Sanders Estes – Preuve
- Sandra McGlothlin – Empire Roofing, Inc.
- Cheryl McGlothlin Chapman – Empire Roofing, Inc.
- Deb Degner – The Leadership Bridge
- And representation from TCU Neely School of Business
