Heather Teems

Realtor with League Real Estate

I love that each day and client process is still unique! I have the opportunity to meet some incredible families and partner with them through selling or buying a home. I view my role as a realtor more of a guide and I love making the process personal, smooth, and yes, even fun!

Meet May’s Fort Worth Woman!

Heather Teems was born and raised in Georgetown, just north of Austin, Texas and attended A&M University, majoring in Marketing. She fell in love with our city after visiting friends at TCU and quickly decided that this was where she wanted to place her roots after graduation. Before she entered the world of real estate, Heather was a Banker, Event Planner, and then a Marketing Coordinator for a very busy spine practice in Southlake. After meeting her husband and his family, Heather was exposed to the world of real estate and felt that becoming an agent would combine all of her past talents into one profession. She had found her niche.

Fast forward seven years, after two kids and almost 100 closings later, she still loves being a real estate agent and the fact that each day is an adventure. Heather understands that buying a home is one of the biggest decisions in a person’s life and she strives to help make it one of the most enjoyable experiences for each individual client. She states, “I love that each day and client process is still unique! I have the opportunity to meet some incredible families and partner with them through selling or buying a home. I view my role as a realtor more of a guide and I love making the process personal, smooth, and yes, even fun!” Heather is currently working with League Real Estate and loves their cutting edge media capabilities, brand, and support of their agents. She has led many discussions within League Real Estate that have allowed her to share her expertise and experiences on a multitude of different topics with her coworkers.

When not showing homes or spending time with her family, Heather is the Children’s Ministries Event Coordinator at First United Methodist Church. From her wedding to Vacation Bible School, to the Halloween Carnival, FUMC holds a special place in Heather’s heart. Both in and out of work, Heather definitely has a heart for serving others!

What Heather loves about our city is the combination of culture that Fort Worth provides. She feels that we have the culture, night life, dining, music, and events that are comparable to any other big city while also maintaining our strong sense of community. She feels that Fort Worth has as sense of ‘togetherness’ that makes our city feel like home. “Fort Worth people just take care of each other. I run into a familiar face everywhere I go which makes it easy to stay connected. I also love how vibrant and active this place is. On any given day there may be a 5k, pub crawl, museum opening, book signing, restaurant opening, or my favorite-an Open House! This town celebrates and supports its residents in a special way and I’m proud to be a part of it.”

Heather’s word for her impact as a businesswoman is supportive. She feels that it is essential to be supportive of our city and the hard-working individuals that make Fort Worth what it is. She is incredibly considerate of her clients, their families, and even fellow realtors in the area. Heather is the kind of person who has the end goal in mind but who also has an intense respect for the hearts involved in the process.
