Clara Cantu

Chair of Craft 2018

Clara is the mother of two young children and a wife to a Pediatric Gastroenterologoist at Cook Children’s Hospital. While staying at home to raise her children, Clara began to volunteer in our community as a member of the Junior League of Fort Worth. Clara and her husband started an enrichment program for students in Fort Worth ISD Anatomy and Physiology high school classes and Cook Children’s Hospital called Saturday Morning Medicine. Students have the opportunity to hear from healthcare professions during these Saturday sessions.

Clara Cantu is the chair for Craft, the annual fundraiser benefiting the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation – North Texas Chapter — which features delicious food, an auction, and a craft cocktail contest made up of local Fort Worth bartenders. Clara is passionate about helping find a cure for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, (collectively known as Inflammatory Bowel Disease or IBD) and improving the lives of the more than 70,000 North Texans living with those diseases.

Craft is on Friday, April 27, 2018 at Mopac Event Center from 6:00-10:00pm. Click the link and buy your tickets now to come join Clara! Cheers!
