Overview

Mission:
The Junior League of Fort Worth, Texas, Inc. is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.  Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

The Junior League of Fort Worth has been a steadfast partner in our community. Ten charter members founded the Junior League of Fort Worth in February of 1929 just months before the Great Depression. Through bad times and good, the Junior League of Fort Worth has forged a strong bond with Fort Worth, a bond that has grown stronger over time.

Now in their 88th year, the Junior League of Fort Worth and nearly 1,900 members will continue to stay true to their Mission of promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

This year members will serve more than 50,000 volunteer hours with 50+ community agencies to make positive and measurable impacts in the City of Fort Worth. Service in the community will focus on five, key impact areas: educating children, connections to arts programs, access to social services, health & nutrition, and job training.  These women will also continue fundraising efforts through the 11th annual Christmas in Cowtown Holiday Gift Market, 6th annual Grand Entry Gala, and 62nd year of “Yelling & Selling” Rodeo Programs.
